I believe it's spelled Jayne, not Jane. :p

Mal was a lot more like Joss wanted him when they did the pilot episode. And yup, that means darker.

Somebody was saying this whole thing (series and movie) supposedly took place in one solar system, is that correct? It seems like a much larger scale than that.
