So I did this challenge. I wasn't going to put that much work into it, but apparently I needed to gush and vent because I ended up writing down ALL THE FEELINGS about this series.

Can you please just rewrite Mockingjay the way you think it should be?? That would make my life. You sound like you actually know what you'd be doing with it from your responses. I think it would honestly be a much better story your way lol.

I have been trying to explain to my friends for ages - KATNISS AND PEETA IS NOT A SWEET PAIRING. In fact, to me, it came off as stalker-y and obsessive, coming from Peeta. And from Katniss... well, it just seemed like she was trying to appease everybody at once - Gale running away like a wuss to District Two made things a little bit neater than they might have been, and Katniss chose the one who would listen to her most, the submissive slave

I know some of my opinions on these books aren't very popular, so it always makes me happy to meet someone who agrees with me. <3

Many - actually, all of my friends - can never understand my constant need to tell them that 'Team Gale and Team Peeta!11!!!!111" don't make sense, because honestly, I don't think Katniss really loved any of them. It was hard to understand her affections, and I believe I laughed rather cruelly when Katniss realized that she loved Peeta only after he strangled her.
