I'm tempted to watch the Unfair movie myself because I love Shinohara Ryoko. I normally don't like police dramas, but I saw an episode of the Unfair drama when I was living in Tokyo and I liked it decently (though the next episode bored me, but that's becuase I had no context and it was final episode *laughs*). So I dunno. Give it a shot?

I really want to buy all the Japanese/Korean shows that I have on DVD-R.

I also have that urge! But then I look at all the DVDs I have already that I hardly watch and think, "Why pay for something I have for free? The stuff I've paid for I hardly watch!" *chuckle* I think one of these days, I'll have to invest in a DivX!playable DVD player. :)

I've never seen the series of Unfair, but I'm rather bored and I heard the movie was alright. I may give it a shot, if only because it's full of actors I like.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person with the urge to spend 100s of dollars of DVDs of shows I already own. I want them just because I want to be able to bring them around with me and watch them on my huge television. But, you're right about the cost. Maybe I'll also invest in a DivXplayable DVD player. Plus, I may just buy my favorites, if only so I'll have a pretty extra set.
