Oh, wow. I love this. Possibly I also hate it, a very little bit, because parts of it are seriously messed up and you broke Rose, but mostly? I love it.
This is so intriguing, it reminds me of a Hill Street Blues type TV script, all interlinking story lines and short fast-moving scenes. I even like the way that a lot of stuff is unresolved, because that seems more realistic. You capture the wider picture, which the central characters would only be a small part of. The D/R reunion scene, though very sad, is well done, because of that very lack of resolution. It would not be simple. And I think the last few lines are great.
There are more and more TW fics coming out now and it seems to me, that of the ones I've read so far, this probably comes closest to the atmosphere of the show.

I like leaving some things unresolved, because it not only lets people decide for themselves, but it is also natural. You can never really get everything resolved neatly when it comes to Torchwood.

I have a thing for the the people/aliens/things that have to deal with Torchwood. I just find the aliend/people/etc that Torchwood deals with to be so interesting. I love writing about them.

Firstly, thank you. Secondly, it would not be simple and that's what I wanted to write about. If there were to ever be a d/R reunion ('specially if Rose fell through a rift or something), it wouldn't be all simple and puppies. It's sad, but I love when fic writers remember that.

This was really, really great. I second what order_of_chaos said above, I love this because every bit of it's wonderful, but I also hate it because you broke Rose.
The Alice one, #9, was my favorite, I think. The Alice Tyler bit threw me at first, wasn't sure whether she was a relation of Rose's or what, but I figured out it was a coincidence in the end. Overall, I like that her last name was Tyler.
You did a great job showing different sides to Torchwood. As sensiblecat said, this really gets across the feel of the show, which seems to be hard to do with TW

Thank you. Well, like I said...I have a thing for causing angst and breaking pretty girls.

Honestly? I really liked the Alice one. I like the idea of there being some nice aliens in Cardiff. Plus...I kind of think Alice ad Ianto had some strange flirting thing going on. lol. Yeah, I gave her Tyler as a last name just because I liked it.
I really liked how #7 and #9, when compared, show slightly different sides of Torchwood and when you throw in #3, you get even more of a contrast.
I like Torchwood must have different sides and has most likely acted differently at different times in its history. I really enjoyed writing about and showing different contrast of Torchwood.
I really liked the first one with Rose, #6, however, on the whole, I think #8, the Doctor one, was my least

I seem to have a thing for writing seriously messed up one-shots...and for breaking pretty blond girls. I can't seem to help myself, sorry.
