Wonderful! Two of my favourite fandoms combined. And Sam and River - two such deliciously screwed up people.

I'm glad you gave in and wrote it!

Thanks! They are also two of my favorite fandoms, and I love them. As for Sam and River, they are both so screwed up and strange. I just think they'd have the best (and oddest) conversations ever.

I'm glad you gave in and wrote it!

I am too. Thanks for reading!

My two favourite characters from two of my favourite fandoms. It was hard to miss with this one!

I could see Sam donning his white hat and coming over all protective of River, getting that intense policeman look as he tries to find out what happened to River.

Mine too. I think that's why I thought of Sam and River and not say, Gene and Mal. Although, those two would be interesting to watch.

I could see Sam donning his white hat and coming over all protective of River, getting that intense policeman look as he tries to find out what happened to River.

'Cause Sam would do that sort of thing. Oh, now I'm getting into the idea of Sam&River as a crossover OTP. lol. I have got to stop that.

That is incredibly odd and more than a little random, but somehow the parallels work for me.

Also, you know, favorite fandoms colliding is always sweet. :)

Yup. What River was doing in Sam's head or what Sam was doing in River's head, I have no idea. It was beyond random, but it was an interesting write. Glad it worked for you.

Also, you know, favorite fandoms colliding is always sweet.

It is. Now, I want to write more random fandom colliding fics!

Unusual crossover, and yet it works rather well. Poor Sam, trying to stay sane while River has long past remembering what sane was. They do get along well, in a strange fashion.

You have no idea how much I agree.

Yes, they could have a very strange, interesting, sad relationship. I enjoy that they seemed to flow well together.

Aw - nice...sweet but not overboard. Both of them lost yet being able to draw some comfort from those around them.

(grins) River could become the new test card girl! I'm sure Sam would much prefer her to the old creepy one.

Thanks! I was a bit worried it would come off too sweet, but I'm glad that it's just right.

Aw, River should be the new test card girl. She's better at the freaky-speak, and she's not as scary. Oh, now I'm loving the idea of Sam/River as a crossover!OTP.

That was brilliant.

Thank you, very much.

I've just gotten into Life on Mars

It's a great show, isn't it? If you ever get a chance, you should try and download the uneditted episodes. As BBC-A tends to edit out ten-fifteen minutes of each episode. And, the tend to edit out the impoartant character bits.

It really works well with crossovers, doesn't it?

It really does. Because, if it is all in Sam's head, anyone could show up. And if it's all real...anyone could still show up. I know LoM/Doctor Who crossovers are very popular.
