Update on What I'm Watching!

Jun 06, 2011 16:48

I thought I'd give everyone (including myself) an update on what I'm watching. Since most of the series are half-way over, I thought it would also be a good time to discuss how I'm liking and disliking about the shows and where I think/hope they are going. (Spoiler Warnings for the drama!)

Despite wanting rom-coms, I'm barely watching them )

romance town, drama that is awesome, cdrama, kdrama, jdrama, strange hero yi zhi mei, korean television spring season, jdrama spring television season

Nao/Hirose? I could get behind that! Maybe it should end with Nao having all that boys in her class as her semi-boyfriends. You know, I see a lot of people wanting Nao/Aruto, and honestly I'm not very fond of the Aruto character. So, I'd rather Nao/Hirose or Nao/Tamaki or Nao/Everyone. (and Momo can go jump in a lake.)

I think Kang Min-Soo and Seung-Cheol need some major character development.
I agree, though I don't know how they would fit that in.

I love the love triangle, especially since there's such a strong bond between Dong Joo and Joon Ha. They all play siblings in one form or another, it's kinda strange, but intriguing xD

I saw some shippery gifs of Asuko March, so I may watch it once the season's over :)

I agree, I don't think there is enough time to give Min-Soo and Seung-Cheol solid character development. I do like both characters, and I do want them to end up happy, but I think the writer doesn't have enough time to make them real people. But, I've seen some of the write

rs past work, and that always seems to be an issue - the leads get character development and storylines, and everyone else gets forgotten.

I agree, it is intriguing and I can't help but think they'll all be hurt at some point; because they all love each other.

Asuko March is a fun watch. Something you don't have to think about. Plus, the lead actress has chemistry with everyone.

ugh, yes. But, I hope they get a chance to heal and maybe a slightly happy ending ;_;

Oh, that's great! Takei and Matsuzaka played siblings in GOLD, so it'll take me a little to unsee it, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it :)

I'm sure they'll heal, even if they have to do it via a time skip. I'm four episodes behind on the drama, so I'm not too sure what's going on. But, with ten episodes left, I just hope their is enough time to finish all those storylines.

Maybe that's one of the reasons I can't get behind the pairing: they've played siblings. That and I'm just not fond of the character or actor.
