I saw Gakkou ja Oshierarenai! and knew I am definitely watching Rebound - when I have the time. XD I was already considering it because of the cast and the mention of pastries, rofl.

I was thinking of watching Asuko March!, too, for Takei Emi, and I just saw that Umareru has Ohkura Tadayoshi falling in love with Sakai Wakana and I LOVE when JE guys that I like have characters that fall in love with the characters of Japanese actresses that I like. So, I am actually considering that, too, even though I really do not like Horikita Maki or the plot itself. What is me. :(

I think Rebound started today, so I'm interested in what people have to say about it. I do think a lot of it will be food porn - all those pastries.

Aw, I like Horkita Maki, but I can see why some might not dig her. I have heard the show is really really heavy handed with its message. So, I'm on the fence. Subtitles for the first episode are out, though. I'm not sure if I'll watch it.

Hmm I haven't heard much about Twinkle, what do you like about it?

I want to watch all the Kdramas on your list! It seems like we're gonna have a good drama season coming up.

I think Twinkle is flying under the radar. I like most of the characters - the uncle whose in college; the law-student whose also got a baby to take care of; the younger sister whose determined to be a star; the "daughter" of the rich family; the middle-class mom; the rich dad - all of them. I think its an interesting (if not somewhat melodramatic show ( ... )

I have yet to watch Jin's first season. Would that be an issue?

Probably ... though season 2's first ep does a bit of explaining and then is off on another track, so possibly you would be fine. Though I was a bit lost because everything I know about 19th c Japan I learned from watching Rurouni Kenshin. And because there is a time slip involved, and some changes to history as a result, reading wikipedia hasn't helped.

I may have to just watch S2 of Jin. When there are subtitles. Thanks for the rec!
