Apparently so. I didn't even hear about this, but it's true. The SP was released May 22, but it isn't uploaded anywhere, which makes me think the SP flew under the radar. The summary:

It aired right when I was out of town/obsessing over the Korean drama Cinderella's Sister. The Spring j-drama season was disappointing, so I wasn't paying attention to the SPs anyway. But, I torrent'ed it - thanks for that info. I have to say this - that first twenty minutes. . .they killed off my favorite! Bastards. But seriously, the whole SP had a different feel to it. I didn't enjoy it like I did the series and the first SP.

I didn't enjoy this SP as much as the first one or the series, but honestly, I wouldn't mind another season. The scene at the end showed that the one they killed off could show up - as a ghost. Plus, Shibata does have that super power of his. Just saying. :x

Too true. I'm wondering if a yearly SP might be in store for Shibatora?. Because the first SP aired in the spring of '09 and the second in the spring of '10. Just a thought. It wouldn't be the first time a series has had several SPs after the series ends.
