Really quick post to point your attention towards this, LJ's latest statement regarding "Non-photographic Images."

Hmm. Well, I've gotta say, I'm pretty satisfied with that, at least for now. I just sort of wonder WHY THE HELL it was so difficult in the first place. Clearly everything can't be addressed with one policy post, but this concept seemed like the most easy and obvious one out there - it's what I've been waiting for someone to say the entire time. One chance to delete and then suspension. Hello, how hard is that?

At least it seems like things are calming down, and everyone's thinking a bit more rationally.

*nods* For serious. Did they finally go out and hire someone who knows something about policy development and PR or what?

Honestly. I don't think I've seen a post that logical since this whole thing started. NEW BLOOD ON THE LJ TEAM?

Maybe so.

Then I happened to be reading something a few minutes ago and noticed that elaboration's name wasn't bolded any longer, and went, 'WHAT.' Things just got a little more interesting.

Either that or they performed some sort of ritual sacrifice and consumed the blood of a competent human being. In which case, it'll wear off before the new moon.

I believe they are also in communication with ponderosa121 about possibly reinstating her journal. Will have to check out her greatestjournal later and see if she's posted anything aboutit.
