Saturday. Returning from Santa Fe with groceries, Honda girl putts to a stop. Try everything. Nope. Hitch a ride to town. Borrow friends car. Drive back 45 minutes with new battery in the dark. Nope. Unpack groceries at 10:30. Sunday. Tow car. Jack works on it all day. Nope

i love how everything is going fine until one tiny little thing like a car breakdown brings it all to a screeching halt (literally) and it's something i take for granted every day

Gorgeous lilies! Are they edible? I'm interested in starting an edible water garden this summer. Do you eat this or any of your other water plants?

I don't know! I maybe heard in some forgotten time about edibility of lilies (vague recollection...) but I sure don't remember! haha

How fun to create an edible water garden! We actually do have tons of beautiful water mint that grows off our island that makes nice tea and watercress that's established and delish. What do you plan on growing? Where are you??
