Savannah was eighteen years old today.

She was sitting on her bed and there was a vase of roses on her nightstand and she was holding the bracelet Johnny had sent with the flowers. Johnny's gifts had made her smile -- and made her decide not to call Benicio about his gift. She knew everyone was going to freak about the car, but she was smart

He had a special ring tone on her cell, so when she heard it ring, her face lit up.

"I was just thinking about you."

He smiled. "Dirtily?"

Like Angela would miss this one.

Parents weekend had her at a bit of a present-getting disadvantage, but hey, at least she had a cupcake in hand when she tapped on the door.

Savannah looked up from her bracelet. "It's open!"

Angela pushed the door open enough to poke her head in before the rest of her followed. "Hey, Birthday girl!"

"I was hoping I'd catch you in." She paused. "Even if you really should be out celebrating."

She laughed. "That's for the weekend. Today is for recovering from family vistors." She patted the bed. "Have a seat."

Oh, look, her phone was ringing again.

Savannah grabbed her phone. "Hello?"

"Happy birthday, kiddo," Chris said.

"Chris! Hi, you."

Summer realized what day it was, therefore, Savannah's phone was ringing yet again.

Savannah grabbed the phone. "Hello?"

"Happy birthday!" Summer said in greeting.

Isabel was pretty sure that the package she'd sent to Savannah had arrived. But just in case, she called to check.

*ring* *ring*

Savannah smiled as her phone rang again.

"Hello?"

"Hey birthday girl!" Isabel said immediately. "Having a good day?"

"Isabel! I'm eighteen!" Savannah said in a very cheerful voice.
