Savannah had taken Storm and Wynter to the beach and figured Johnny would join them when he found Kristofer.

She had her cell phone and had placed a couple of calls to people.

Now, she was watching her girls play in the sand -- and kept having to remind them not to use their magic on each other.

Kristofer came running up to his mommy, the stuff he got at Uncle Sean's shop, in his hands. "Mommy! I got baseball stuff!"

Johnny was right behind him, smiling and shaking his head.

He sat down near Savannah. "I had to track him down again."

"Daddy!" Storm came running to them from the water.

"Hey, baby girl!"

And this was Eve, bringing Gwen to the beach. It was a full day for them, apparently.

"Savannah!" came a shrieky yell of glee, followed by an eight-year-old flinging herself at Savannah.

Savannah laughed as she caught the girl and then looked over her head at Eve.

"That would be your little sister," Eve explained. "She's... cheerful."

"She's yours and Adam's?"

And that would be Kristof making a beeline for Savannah and Johnny, soccer ball in his hands, with Adam trailing behind him, looking extremely amused.

Johnny smiled and waved at the little boy. "Hey there," he said, nodding a greeting at Adam.

Laughing, he came to his feet. "You bet, Kristof." But he glanced over at his son, making sure he was all right before he set off to play with his nephew.

Kristofer was busy throwing a ball high and catching it, not paying attention to anything else.

"Kids," he said to Adam. "More energy than I ever remember having."

Sean had handwavily gotten someone to take care of the shop for a while, because if you couldn't take a break and spend time with your kidlet, who could?

He waved cheerfully when he caught sight of Savannah. "How goes the child-rearing?" he called, as his daughter tagged along behind him.

Savannah gave him a weak smile. "Confusion."

"Don't be confused, Aunt Savannah," Gracie said, running over to hug her aunt. "You're a good mommy."

Savannah hugged her niece. "That's a very good thing to hear."

After getting a phone call from Savannah, Wyatt left Victoria with her mother and orbed to the beach, wondering what Savannah wanted.

When Wynter saw Wyatt arrive, she orbed away from Savannah and then launched herself at Wyatt.

"Daaaadddddy!"

Wyatt blinked and found himself with an armful of Wynter. "Daddy?" he repeated, staring at Savannah.

Savannah nodded. "Apparently in her universe... we never got back home."
