I made it to Violet City.

Actually I made it a few days ago but then I was whisked to Goldenrod for the paintball competition. That was a blast, and I'm excited for when I actually get there myself. And congratulations to those who won, what did you get for prizes?
I'm still training up for the gym challenge. We're getting stronger - my Mareep's even evolved - but I'm not sure yet if we're strong enough. We'll get there and it'll be fun. I caught a new Pokemon on the way too, a Hoppip. It's been a little harder to train but a challenge makes it more worthwhile.
Is there anyone in Violet City who wants to hang out or anything? Or train together. I've got a job at the PokéMart again but that's just a few hours. Let me know!
