It's possible that because this is a larger city, that pollution is much more likely to increase. It's quite terrible.

how dreadful. i would think the inhabitants of this lovely planet would do everything in their power to keep it clean and as it should be.

perhaps this is why i prefer to remain a pokemon as opposed to walking around in human form. on some levels, humans come off as rather self-absorbed and ... well...

I would think so as well. I don't wish to put them all together under the category of litterers, but many do seem to have the mindset of 'it doesn't concern me'.
