DAMN @ Scanner Darkly. Wasn't that supposed to be out LAST year?! The trailer rocked sooo much. *sigh* The cast, too.
Lovely work, Eva! :) I definitely do get a "pop" feel from it. I think my favorite part is actually the lettering/words across the top -- I love the angle, and the parts that are cut off. Really cool.

I think they moved it mainly to a summer release to gain momentum/hype, but still it really sucks...I think there might be a prescreened pirated copy on the web, but I don't know if I'm that desperate yet. Oh, have you seen Waking Life? It's by the same director, Richard Linklater, and he used the cartoonized topography as in SD. It's all about Philosophy really, or even self realization, but it's rather interesting. I think they also mention something about Philip K. Dick in that movie, and I was like "neato", lol.

I haven't seen Waking Life, but the title sounds familiar... I'll have to look it up. The main thing that draws me to SD is that style, so I'd love to see anything else done like it... Oh man, am I forgetting...? Who is Philip K. Dick? A philosopher maybe? I haven't taken a philo course in a while. *blush*

As for the pirated copy, if I'll see it around... *wink wink*
