I've missed you and everyone else too. It just seems like when I am just getting well, I get sick again and each time it takes a little longer for recovery.

I DID actually learn to make striped socks via crochet this winter. It reminded me of you.

I am hoping now that summer is here, I can stay more active. At least, I am well enough to get to my big computer.

Doing better, but it takes a little longer each time for me to get better. One of these days I know I won't but I'm still hoping that's a ways off.

I am so jealous of your warm weather. JEALOUS. Normally in March its about 40 or so - but guess what it is friggin 16 degrees.

And it snowed on Saturday while I was participating in an outdoor costumed event. I was freezing!

No farmers markets here. No flowers. Not even any bare ground. Ice planet Hoth.

I hope you get your horses. You have been writing about getting horses for so many years. Will be nice to finally do it.

You shouldn't be too jealous. Right after I wrote that, we got hit by another cold spell complete with frost. Luckily, I didn't lose any of the plants.

Alas, now it's too hot except in the early morning or at twilight.

I envy you your costumed events. We love them but the groups here are rather cliquish and so none of the ones we enjoy would welcome us.

The land is cleared. We just need to build fence and put some more filler down. They'll be one of the last to come here. This upcoming spring, we're aiming for chickens. I have everything except the coop.

I almost didn't, given that I always get sick and can never finish or hang in there for the last two I've participated in.

Now I'm glad I did. with summer here, I feel better and so can get to the big computer to write. I've found that iPads are rubbish for writing or for journal entries.

Initially I was hoping participation would drag me out of the lethargy left over from my last illness, but now I'm actually looking forward to it.
