When you reach "home" it speaks to you. My house did the same thing over 26 years ago. I knew I'd be there for as long as I can manage. Lovely entry.

Thank you! I used to hate living here, just couldn't stand it. It's still not my first choice for a place to live but it's where I live now so I make the best of what I have. I like to think that the land serves as a buffer and protects me a bit since it does have some links back to what I left behind.
