You're truly blessed to have Dee to help you. If LJ Idol had a trophy, I was wanting to hand it to you. Here's to continued recovery and more pieces coming together (both literally and metaphorically)

Dee has always been a blessing and a boon to me. The man is so strong and so spiritual, even though he'd claim otherwise.

I hope so. Alas, most of what you see there was actually done by Dorie but I can put together small parts which have obvious patterns. I don't spend long on it either because if I do it makes me mad.

They don't know if the rest of the abilities will return or not since they don't know what part of the brain was injured or how. Evidently I'm not using it ... much :D

Thanks for commenting and reading, as always.

I know. We can't post photos of him because of his job requirements; it's been tried and they made me take them down. I had asked the MIB if it would be all right to do drawings and they checked with whoever was in charge and she gave the okay on it.

In a small gesture of defiance, Dorie always makes them look like those court drawings you see :D

I haven't done a jigsaw puzzle in years, although I used to do the 1000-piece kind as a kid. I must have stopped because of the FRUSTRATION over a particular puzzle, which sounds about right -- I'd be the type to kick over the entire thing if I couldn't make a semblance of whatever the damn thing is supposed to be :p

I love the illustration :)

Oh, and our thyroids are in Tahiti. I received a telepathic message from them last night ;)

We use drawings of Dee because, by his work's security procedures, he's not allowed to be photographed. In order to be allowed using the drawings I had to ask the MIB who had to pass it up to their superiors. She agreed but only because it was agitating Dee that people thought he didn't exist. You might notice they look sort of like court room drawings; Dorie, out of defiance, does that on purpose.

Lovely...mine needs to come back ASAP. I can't use blankets because I'm running hot, my legs won't stop twitching, and I'm covered in hives.

Thanks, thyroid. You've had your fun now get back here and do some work!

PLEASE tell me you brought the nurse up before your state''s nursing board. That you had her fired from her job for negligence. You were lucky the area did not suffer necrotic damage (the tissue dies and turns black).

This is why nurses call me a bitch to work for. I don't allow this kind of laziness to happen when I do charge. This infuriates me and makes me ashamed of some of those in my profession.

Very well written, Did you do the drawing? Photos are always a bonus.☺

We tried, but my records 'disappeared'. We just didn't have the money to get a lawyer and fight them when the hospital refused to turn over those records which by rights should have been mine. The hospital, however, was later removed from my insurance's list of approved hospitals. I am hoping it happened because of things like this.

It did later turn necrotic but not badly enough to require surgery. Instead, the skin peeled open in layers and drained. My regular doctor packed it and showed us how to debride it and clean it up. I don't recommend it at all.

I did not do the drawing. Dorie, Dee's sister, does those. We're not allowed to show pictures of Dee because of his line of work but we did get permission for drawings. Note how they resemble the old court sketches after cameras were not allowed in the courtrooms; she does that on purpose as a gesture of defiance. Some day I do hope I can post an actual picture of him, he's gorgeous!

How perfect, too, that the puzzle is a fox.

That happened to be an accident. He wanted a puzzle with lots of variation in the color since I didn't have one where the shapes differed much (we're going to fix that). You can't see it clearly there, but the pieces have lots of hash marks and striations which make it easier to match them up once sorted according to color.

When this one is done, we're framing it.
