You're very welcome. I have to admit I hesitated and almost took a bye because of the sensitivity of the subject but I'm glad I took the risk now. The shrine is very much a work in progress and as I learn more I add to it. I had meant it to be interactive so I do use it for prayers and other rites.
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment, it's appreciated.
...that would be fae. As my teacher told me, you don't have to believe in them because they will believe in you. They're not cute or cuddly things, as you see in most pagan representations. In fact, as most are of Teutonic origin, the uglier the fae folk the more helpful they are. It's the gorgeous ones you have to watch out for.
Dorie would be the one to contact for shrine work. I'm still working out details like what spray paints go where and what adhesives to use...and how NOT to glue yourself to your pieces. You wouldn't believe how many times I glued myself to that thing!
She's working on one for another customer who wanted an ancestral shrine so I believe she could do a good job for you.
Meantime, try offering a small cup of tea or coffee and a bit of biscuit or cookie. That usually holds them off for a while.
