Hi, I found theferrett's livejournal, and read a comment in which you specified how you had not been able to choose your own first sexual experience.

I have been sexually brutalized on several occasions, starting from when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I really enjoy reading about the lives and successes and trials of others who have survived severe traumas early in life like I did, and seeing how our experiences have made us stronger.

I would really appreciate it if you chose to friend me, but I will not be offended if you would prefer not to.

Will add you back :D At the moment, my journal is largely quiet because I'm taking chemotherapy and it's sometimes a rough road but I try to keep up and to post something cheerful when I can.

Oh, good, I'll look into them :D

The piercing on the right, the new set, closed up on me. I had to take the earrings out for an MRI and it had been a few months so I figured that the piercing would be fine. Unfortunately, it closed completely during the 45 minutes it took to do the scan. Then it festered...eeeeeyyyywww. All better now but the hole needs re-done.

Never thought of using emu, but I might. The udder cream does well for normal skin conditions but my psoriasis is so bad I'm actually on chemotherapy to nuke the abnormal cells causing it.

There's a small nodule of scar tissue but I started with vitamin E right away and it's rapidly going away.

I can't wait to get this done.

I put it up a while ago when I re-designed the entire journal. It really IS breathtaking. If I remember correctly it's part of a series based on the Native American birth signs and each one has the phases of the moon in it. If you look at the paw prints, that's what they are.
