Tumblr is definitely a thing. For some, the shiny wears off, mildly or completely, for others, it's the beginning of the end. :P

I think I might just follow you, because, hockey! and perhaps it'll renew my tumbling love. :)))

I've had this journal for a decade, I keep coming back to it, even after periods of drought. But I guess we'll see. There's always been fandom to come back to on lj.

Yeah, I'm far too old for tumblr, but I made (started? I don't even know) one basically to see all the pretty hockey pics and gifs. And also just followed you! Rando tumblr name is icantbelieveididit (basically self-tumblr-referential...), in case you're wondering who the new stalker is. :-)

Haha, how old are you? Because I'm 31 and I feel like that EVERY DAY. All of these people I follow are turning 20 and 21 and one is just going off to college. Sigh. Thanks for the heads up on the stalking. :)

Do you live in Hawaii? I've been there once before and freaking loved it. Such a beautiful part of the world.

Heh - 40-mumblemumble, you know how it goes... :-) So I totally know what you mean. I've met some lovely people whether they're younger or older than I am, but I'd definitely say that tumblr skews younger than the rest of the social media forms.

And yes, am currently in Hawaii, which *is* a beautiful part of the world, though I'm from (and my family is still in) Ottawa. I seem to see quite a bit of them out here, though... ;-) I hope you have a great time while you're here.

Tumblr ended up fading for me, mostly because Pinterest came along and stole all my Tumblr time away. But eventually I'll log in again, because I still had about a thousand posts saved in my "likes" that I need to go through. XD

I feel that cheese bread and an apple are relatively healthy choices, all things considered. I mean, let's face it... home alone with one of your favorite things to watch? You could totally have had popcorn and cake for dinner.
