Okay, so as you already know, I went on a twelve day (thirteen, if you count the day I lost traveling to Germany) vacation to visit my brain twin causeways. We laughed, we did not cry, we did not even fight, and an awesome time was had by all ( Read more... )

At first I was going to be all, "GOD I AM SO JEALOUS OF YOUR GERMANY TRIP. ARRRRRRRGH!"

But then I read the last paragraph. SECOND TARANTULA?

Haha, sorry. There might have been a second tarantula. I took a picture of it. Don't worry, it's nowhere you've ever stayed.

But my Germany trip was awesome!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE PICTURES! :D

I love love love the architecture in all these pictures! The buildings are so colorful and cute! Also, the Kehlsteinhaus (do not judge me: I copy/pasted this name) pictures are breathtaking, which means that in person it must have been even more spectacular.

I WISH I HAD KNOWN YOU WERE GOING TO AUGSBURG! (Without going into too many OMGINTERNETSDANGER details, my family name literally means "person from Augsburg, Germany.")

Luuurves for the pictures! :D YAY for new job happiness as well. Slightly less (like, A LOT) yay for spiders and scorpions. I have to revert several years and type my reaction to this news as follows:

O_o

That is all.

Hahaha, well. Now I apologize for the disparaging comments I made about Augsburg. I was underwhelmed, but I was coming off of Rothenburg, which was the cutest thing ever.

In person, the view from Kehlsteinhaus (and don't worry, I check the spelling a lot) was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It was so pretty it wasn't even real.

Hahaha, I am really tired of finding disgusting poisonous things in my house. It's gross.

I SOMEHOW MISSED THIS POST BEFORE. I love it! I am sorry that we did not stop at the pub of the green dragon. I noticed the green dragon on it at the time but did not actually think to comment about it!!

Agree completely re: not having really expected to take pictures at Dachau.

And I felt more than slightly sick being like, wait, wait, let me frame "ARBEIT MACHT FREI" a little better. :/

Well, I mean. It's like we were talking about while walking around there. People respond to memorials in different ways. At least we weren't walking slightly in front of our husbands and throwing coquettish grins over our shoulders while he took snaps of us.

HOW COULD YOU NOT COMMENT... Oh well. It's fine. We've left. Someday I want to go back there anyway and stay for, like, two weeks. Until I am honest to god sick of that town, because I love it so much right now. I'll go the Green Dragon then, and I'll probably find out it's actually an iguana or something.
