the naruto i love is the naruto that kishimoto doesn't show

Things I have discussed about Naruto with other people, but never quite in depth (because I don't have many close friends in this fandom, sobs), is characterization, and Kishimoto's lack thereof. Which I've thought is kind of unfortunate, because with such a huge manga, so many stunning characters have been created that aren't done or developed

I think with Kishi doesn't do much for Sakura, or any of the other characters...that are not Naruto and Sasuke. I mean, Sakura became a chunin at 14 without her team and we don't even get to see that, which is horrible and she's even in the sidelines in the war. She's the godaime's apprentice c'mon she's supposed to have more than a little side panel!

And then he goes and kills off Neji and doesn't do much for team Gai in general,i'll ignore how Tenten is disregarded in general, but she needed more than a "oh lee" like her teammate is dead! This is a chance to focus on their relationship with Neji and flashbacks and maybe give Tenten a last name!

man, i would have loved to see sakura actually pass the chuunin exams, so much could have happened there! i've actually never even though about that, man, now i have a bunch of ideas running around in my head

i generally think manga can't fit much into it, especially for a story as big as naruto. chapters are short and there's so much happening that how does anyone get the screen time they deserve? i want everyone to have a story, i want characters to be three dimensional, and YES I ALSO WANT TENTEN TO HAVE A LAST NAME WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

I'm dying for anything about her experience in it...I'll take a filler episode anything...
I know it's impossible to fit every character but, since I am biased when it comes to Naruto characters so maybe not all.

Actually, I just want Naruto to be a shoujo manga so Kishi can abandon plot and focus on feelings and love triangles.

Kishi literally hates all female characters and wants them to be weak save for maybe the Mizukage and Tsunade. His development of Sakura makes me want to smash a his head into a wall. I kind of differ that about her being emotional weak with Sasuke. She kind of like... doesn't think things through clearly. Whenever her and Sasuke meet for the first time I thought this would be her bad ass moment because i freaking ship them so much my ship will never happen why I knew how much she had grown. I was upset that she couldn't hurt him. Or that she froze. She couldn't even run away.

Sasuke I think has the most character development out of Team Seven for obvious reasons being the death of the Uchiha clan and Orochimaru being a psycho wanting to have his body and putting the curse mark on him. Anyway, Sasuke is my favorite character and he's basically my baby

i don't think i read far enough to know much about the mizukage (??) but yeah, definitely, tsunade. she was done alright but i would've liked a little bit more, i think.

right, sakura doesn't think things through clearly. but what i wanted to emphasize is that she's not twelve years old when she's with him like kishimoto makes her to be, because she won't throw everything away from him anymore, you know? i just completely disagree with how kishimoto portrays her, i guess. I JUST DENY CANON LOL

I think that Kishi doesn't know how to write Sakura properly, because he's like LOOK AT THIS BADASS LADY, SHE IS A MEDIC-NIN, SHE'S AN AMAZING SHINOBI and then completely destroys all that by making her "trust in Naruto and Sasuke"?¿ HOW ABOUT NO.
Yeap, well, kind of. Madara took Obito after the rock crushed him and helped him to heal. And he saw Kakashi kill Rin (and nobody knows WHY THE HECK Kakashi'd do that, i still hope that it was genjutsu or something?¿) and decided to create his own world or something.
Idk, I haven't been reading the manga properly, 'cause there's now the whole history of Madara and the first Hokage and it's AGAIN the story of two bff who were rivals and then all went to hell u.u

With Sakura you are completely right. But with Sasuke there's been scenes that show that he still cares a lot for team seven, for example when he's with Suigetsu searching for Zabuza's sword, and reads about "Naruto's bridge" or when he's fighting killer bee and thinks about the taka members protecting him and a drawing of team 7 appears ASDASDHSA <3 But yes, I think that Kishimoto goes to extremes with Sasuke's arcs

hahah i really do not believe that kishimoto will ever let sasuke come home, it just doesn't seem possible after all this time anymore.... i do believe that he still loves team 7, but he doesn't love them enough to just drop everything and come home :(

and if that's the case, the only way to see them back together is in fanfiction! \o/
