I love Death as well, but noone can beat Sam Vimes in my heart :) I can't wait to see what you think when you're further into the series!

I've only gotten through one of the Watch books so far, so perhaps I haven't seen enough of Vimes yet. I like him well enough, from what I've seen of him so far, but Death remains my favorite until further notice. :)

Sam Vimes wasn't my favorite after the first watch book either, so that's fine :) I more like what he's become, and the journey there, than what he was :P But Death is more of a constant of course.
