New Year Report #2

3 days in & the good news so far is that it doesn't look like we caught Covid from... somewhere/one, as we suspected we may have. We both had sore throats on New Year's Day & thought oh-oh, here we go... but no - the sore throats have subsided & we don't have any of the other symptoms on the list

Either that, or the fact that we're both triple-dosed

Wow, that lake is beautiful.

Good job fighting the Omicron or whatever it was.

That's about as close to the lake as you're allowed to get - the surrounding bushland is pretty strictly off-limits to all but the relevant authorities. It had a huge bushfire through it in 2019/20 (like most of Australia!!), but seems to have recovered quite well...

Maybe all we had was the post-Silly Season fatigue... there's a lot of that going 'round!

And yes... a very photogenic cat!!
