Well things we deem sweet in this world lack the perception of chaos which is so necessary for the process of growth in ones body and mind. So the bitter and the sweet are the best route to equilibrium with one's course of life.
But like Ben Franklin said "I could be wrong about this whole lightning thing so lets just say a prayer man."
