there's this Zaca fire thing going on in the county. it's pretty big, or so I hear. It rains ash every few days, when the wind is pushing the fire towards the coast

no one famous came by the store today, although there were a few extremely loud profanities heard from some guy out on the street. Also heard some sirens but no idea what they were for.

You probably should volunteer to be a fire fighter at least then you'd see more trees and less pizza dough. Figure it would be more exciting.

that's funny, I uttered some loud profanities, and had some uttered at me, too. and the police were called. an overweight mentally disturbed (and drunk) man came at me swinging his fist tonight as I was shaking out a rug in the street. saying something about us putting a napkin in his pizza. (he had purchased a slice about 10 minutes earlier.) my boss/security guy stepped in, and the police showed up a minute or two later. he's being charged with being punk in drublic, and assault against my boss. I figured I didn't need to press charges... wouldn't want to receive some kind of summons a year from now for this clown's court date. the cop I spoke with didn't think they could make any of the charges stick, 'cause of the mental disorder. oh well. always something different.

and "volunteer" to fight fire? gotta be kidding me. I'm not risking my life for kicks.

pff. the last two years were about making sure I knew how to do thinks without risking my life. the only fires I play with are those I control.

should I send flowers, or a bouquet of RAM, for the funeral of your compy?
