And the movie news keeps coming...

Apparently, after 10 years of contemplating it, Neil Gaiman himself is going to make a movie adaptation of Death: The High Cost of Living (see my icon) for Warner Independent, and Guillermo Del Toro is going to executive produce it.

FTW is all I can say.

FTW.

Yeah!!

I was talking to Tara today, and we were discussing Stardust (the next Neil movie to come out) and it's got a phenomenal cast and looks to be really good, even though it's not his project. So...I'm not too worried about Death. I loved his casting in Mirrormask. Let's hope that Death turns out like that.

Neil definitely has to pick (or at least really really approve) of the actors to make this work... If that happens though, this is going to seriously kick ass ;)

I agree. But like I've said elsewhere in this post, judging on the virtually unknown cast of Mirrormask, and how good and epic the cast of Stardust is, I don't think he'll go wrong.

Del Toro is so brilliant, very happy to see him associated with this

Yeah he is. I mean, Mirrormask was amazing the way it paired Dave McKean and Neil. I can't wait to see what Guillermo and Neil pump out.

Ooo! Death!! Oooo! I'm so excited I don't know what to write! Pan's and Hellboy were amazing, I can't wait for Stardust, and now I'm just excited!
Death is my favorite character!
