Uh-oh, once again is clear that Danae lives under the rock and hasn't read JKR's interview to the end. I knew of Luna, but I completely missed Neville's partner. But I like it. It breaks the oddball to oddball stereotype - Hannah is pretty cool.
Well, Luna is almost paired in TPOS... and I think the partner you chose for her a brilliant choice. But I would enjoy a decent story about the almost canon ship too.
Yeah, I like our TPOS pairing, as well. But Luna/Dean just leapt off the DH pages to me, and I thought it would be fun to construct something around them. Unfortunately, the only bunnies around here are dust bunnies. And I'm fresh out of carrots.
Yeah, even Lupin, monster, deadbeat dad, and passive-aggressive wolf extraordinare, isn't quite as scuzzy than your ex.
I don't know that I can go rah rah for Neville/Hannah, cuz I barely remember her--but I'm not one that ever saw Neville/Luna as appealing. Neville to me seems very grounded, and Luna the polar opposite, and while I think opposites can initially attract, I think they ultimately annoy.
But chemistry with Dean? Where was that? *is puzzled*

As for the Luna/Dean, gimme a few to find the passage that peaked my interest. I'm suffering from severe insomnia and waiting for the Sominex to kick in. I'll look for it tomorrow.
And at least Lupin took his chastening and went back to Tonks. Some people get whacked repeatedly over the head with clue-by-fours and STILL don't get it. Oh well. Not my problem!

For a while. Who knows if that would have lasted much longer. Or even if Lupin went into battle at least partly to once again evade his responsibilities. The way Tonks came after him...
Just never believed in that pairing--in there being something genuine there. And Lupin to me never seemed a very admirable or strong character. Pitiable--but I think being sympathetic in that way sure isn't the same as being a hero. But yeah, still better than Ex.
