Like sands through the hourglass...

This is shaping up to be a depressing summer.

July 21:  Book Seven canonshafts my fun ends the HP series.
August 11:  Closest friend getting married.  (At least I get to dress like a pirate!)
August 17:  Ten year high school reunion.

I don't know why I'm dreading my high school reunion so much.  I guess I'm not looking forward to hearing about everyone ( Read more... )

these are the days of our lives.

*hugs*

dressing like a pirate makes almost anything tolerable. Maybe you should wear your costume to the reunion.

I really was tempted to go to my reunion as a pirate. Nobody would bat an eyelash at me if I did. Not that our school was liberal, but I was always just that odd. :D

There, there. You know the answer to DH blues? Write more TPOS! ::Ducks::

You know, I've never even been to a reunion--not just cuz of feelings like yours, but cuz frankly high school was hell and there's no one there I want to see. But if you have friends you left behind, I think it could be cool, and you shouldn't let some BS about feeling you haven't accomplished much stop you.

High school wasn't the bane of my adolescent years. School was where I went for a break from being at home. I had fun in high school, despite the fact that I had three AP classes and was the Managing, Opinion, and Photography editor for my school paper.

Yeah, I'm gonna go. If the friend who made me promise at graduation to show up to this blasted thing doesn't come, though, I'm going to make it my mission in life to hunt him down and make his life miserable!

Do you have to go to the reunion? I'm pretty sure I won't be attending mine. The only people from high school that I want to see are the ones I keep in touch with.

The people I keep in contact with from high school are the ones from my first high school. The people I graduated with I somehow lost track of. So I guess I'll go.

Little black dress: $200
Limo rental: $100
Hot date for the evening: However much it costs
Looking good for your ten year reunion: Priceless.

Money can't buy you success, but for everything else, there's Mastercard!
