He acknowledged the arrow'd Dee with a nervous nod. He was trying so-very-hard to not pluck the petals off the flower, you see, when he was unknowingly struck with an arrow. He glanced back at Waddle Dee just a millisecond later. And he began to crush the card he held in his hand.]

Waddle Dee waved to Marie, and began to walk off as if nothing happened... or did it? No, Waddle Dee stopped in his tracks a little ways along. He looked back at Marie and began to realize that... wow, he was kind of cute. Kind of really cute. Maybe he should talk to him? It was Valentine's Day, after all. Maybe it was time for a little surprising bravery.
He gulped and slowly approached.] U-Um... hi there. [The yellow area of his face was probably entirely red by now.]
