Emma Frost bad news

Or not, depending on who's reading this.

I've read in several places that Emma Frost is getting cancelled. I'm hearing contradictory stuff on which will be the last issue. Well, that makes one less comic for me to pick up...

btw, anyone on DC++/ZCultfm, I'm known as "libertybelle", a nod to my old Earth-2 alliances.

I'm "redbird" in DC++, though I don't use the ZCultfm hub too much. My wireless router evidently doesn't do port forwarding unless I call the company, so there goes the 'active' option...

And I haven't figured out which issue is her last, either. I haven't read any, but sort of want to, just to see why she was cancelled...

Initially I read #18 was the last, but I've also heard it's next week's issue, so I'm a wee bit confused. As for why it's being cancelled, I think Marvel can blame the mixed signals the series was sending. At least initially, the cover artwork was Emma Frost cheesecake shots, while the interior story was all schoolgirl angst and woe. Also the storylines were taking awhile to get into gear and wrapped up, so it could just be a combination of factors.

The newest hub, Megacomics, allows passive mode, I think, but otherwise, yeah, you have to be in active mode.

This goes to show I shouldn't be replying at almost 4 am. I meant Megacomics, not Megaman. (sounds like a really cheap superhero ;D) But yeah, I've been using Megacomics. Love it.

*laughs* I wondered if that was you! I'm filling in some of Hawkman appearances I'm missing, so thank you.
