tafkarfanfic offered up the Dream Show Bible meme where you created a tv show based on seven actors/actresses culled from your LJ interests. You were required to give a short blurb about the show and short character descriptions. I suspected I would probably do quirky or genre. Okay, so, maybe it's a little of both

That's the one where the person running the meme blew me off because they didn't know anything about "old actors". :<

No. My comment was "I'm sorry - I don't think I could do one that consisted of actors who are not alive." I never said anything about "old actors." I am very hurt that you would characterize my comment in such a light.

To me that means exactly the same thing--and it's also hurtful to be dismissed because most of the people I'm a fan of aren't considered current and "cool".

But I have no desire to discuss the subject any further, especially on a friend's journal.

Again, you mischaracterize me. I am a big fan of old films, especially silent films. It has nothing to do with them not being current or cool. I am not comfortable utilizing dead actors - whether it's Heath Ledger or Louise Brooks - for this project. I am sorry to make you feel left out.
