Having sent back Bubblegum Crash, I decided to continue my anime watching phase, so Netflix sent me the first dvd of Right Stuf/Nozomi's "Maria Watches Over Us". I have to honestly say it's not a show I'd expect to like. If you're used to shows that are non-stop action and short on characterization, this is a complete 180 degrees. The series has spawned over thirty light novels and a manga series.

the novels actually came first. then the manga and finally the anime series. :)

Oh, I LOVE Marimite! :D I had no idea there WERE official DVDs, this is thrilling. I did know about s4 but I haven't seen the OVA yet but HEE! This is wonderful. It's just so sweet. I'm rather in love with Satchiko.

Here's the website for the dvd releases. They're region 1 only, though. It's hard not to fall a little love in love with Sachiko, isn't it?
