Possibly unpopular opinion

Am I the only one who doesn't like Renato Guedes Lois at all? I like his Clark mostly, but she just looks so... mousy. And that's not how I picture Lois Lane at all. It's weird because I loved his Supergirl because she looked like a teenage girl. So I don't know why I have the polar opposite reaction to his Lois.

lois lane, superman

Do we know who did the coloring on that? The coloring is really awesome. Not sure how I feel about the art itself though. It's really pretty, but, you're right, she doesn't really strike me as Lois.

From what I'm seeing online, Guedes did his own coloring.

Did you see my adventures at the Nationals/Rangers 14-inning marathon?

Ooh. No! I think I missed that. (It may have been when I got a pretty big skip= number when I was out most of the weekend?) I'll go read it now! (Or, you know, perhaps a bit later, depending on how busy work is.)

I didn't post it until Saturday morning, so you probably missed the links. That was A LOT of baseball.

Yeah, I didn't think about it very hard when I first saw the scans, but she does look way too mousy.

I'm particularly bothered with the way he drew Lois here, his Batman is just awful though.

Her eyes are dead. Lois should always have a gleam in her eye, like she's looking for an angle, trying to find the truth, etc. Compare your icon to that Lois, and that Lois looks like she should be saying, "Oh mah big ol' Supeyman has return-ed to mines." It's looking at Ed Benes' Oracle. *shudder*

Um, I hate the art period. One of the reasons I stopped reading Superman is in the last few years its all looked like it was being drawn by 12 year olds who have never seen a human body before. Bleh.

I MISS YOU DAN JURGENS!!!!!!!!
