Just pick something

I have a boatload of would-be JLU related stories I would like to write, but no idea where to start. "Just pick something" usually works fine for me. With JLU, it freezes me dead in my tracks. I have no idea why, aside from the fact I haven't watched all the Batman or Superman animated series. I've actually been tempted to turn one of the epic AUs into this year's Nano and if no original fic are coming to mind I still may!

Since the poll creator isn't working right now (Screwy error message, I've asked support), I'm listing all the WIPs, but I'm only giving very short keywords/descriptions. Partly because I don't want to get into heavy explanations and then get uninspired. And partly because I'm just Evil. (Think Flash-Lex in "Great Brain Robbery") Certain RL friends can stop snickering right now, especially Havoc.

• Athens Olympics AU. Secret identities. Getting in over your head.
• Olympic level athlete. Human drama of athletic competition.
• Archaeology, mythology, embarrassing pillow talk and maybe a little romance.
• A wedding, a house, a mystery woman, and a relationship that happened anyway
• A cruise, some aliens, and the jig is up
• Steve Trevor. Arlington. Grief.
• A sparring match, an interview and a night in Metropolis.
• Flash. Day job. Working overtime. (And reconciling various Flash incarnations...)

So what intrigues people? What scares people? And please don't say everything! I'm having a hard enough time with these stories running through my head.

Those of you with multiple WIPs/ideas/etc how do you approach this? How do you decide? Do you just write whatever scenes pops up first?
