That's interesting. I remember being vaguely outraged that Angel was canceled in favor of a pilot that never materialized. Now we know why.

Sounds like my relief that the series was nixed is well justified. Look at how surprised I am.

I have already heard the talk about the latest fandom mutilation remake under consideration. All I can say is this: if that certain actor who I despise with the passion of a thousand Mary Sues ever gets near the role of Barnabas, I will give him a chance to live it for real, by hunting him down and staking him through the heart myself.
