I finally got around to starting Loamhedge, but I haven't been paying attention to the chronology of the books. Where is this one supposed to be? More specifically, is it before or after Mattimeo? (In terms of when the book is set, not when it was written

After Mattimeo. After Triss and Taggerung, too. It's the latest in the series, chronologically.

I need to reread a bunch of Redwall books, too...

Yeah, but they're all the same. Mouse goes ARRR and the evil rat/weasel/cat goes ARRRR and then a Significant Minor Character dies Moste Tragically, and that makes the mouse go ARRRRRR and the evil one dies going ARRRR all the way. And then there are the copious descriptions of food and a couple of ballads. end.
