Journal

I've had this LJ for almost three years now. Since 2009, I think I've really progressed and evolved both as a Simmer and as a member of the community. I was just looking through my big list of tags, which to me just doesn't seem very organised, and some of my old downloads have horrible preview pictures etc. So, I can't decide... should I put in ( Read more... )

Personally, I don't *love* when creators switch blogs since it does make it a little bit trickier to keep track of their downloads. But it's not a huge deal, so if you feel like you want a change, I say go for it.

I've changed journals twice now and I do love a fresh start and having a more uniform look (for me).

If you're up to completely clean everything out, I'd say go for it. Or sometimes, a fresh start is just the best. I didn't really lose any friends during my moves and I much more enjoy my new journals (and names).

I did a cleanup recently, which involved a lot of retagging, but no deletion of actual sims stuff (just a couple of off-topic posts). I prefer it when everything's in one place, 'cause I think it's nice to be able to go through people's old stuff and see their progress, and it makes it a lot easier when I'm looking for something specific. With a new journal, that becomes harder to do, you have to actively go looking for the old one instead. You can always make your new stuff very organised, and just tag the old stuff as old, to make the distinction clear. But of course, it's up to you. :)

I agree with two of the people here. I like it when it's all in one place, because I get confused easily when I'm looking for creators and posters anyway, let alone when they have several blogs.
But if you do decide to create a new blog, please post the new username here! I like all your downloads/stories ^_^

Stay with the same, just clean it up a little! Then again this is coming from the person who's had her LJ for nine years and just can't bear to part with it for that reason.
