12kPoBRC, Life, Writing, Other pointless intiatives

I have once more remembered why the 12kPoBRC is such a bloody awful idea... I am forcing myself to read, i.e. stare at pages for hours not totally reading, books that I deemed not interesting enough to really warrant hours and hours of my time that are required to read them. MI6 is pretty much the example. It's just full of all kinds of great ( Read more... )

Give it up if you do not enjoy or grow from it, why suffer in your freetime, especially when you aren't getting paid for it.

Well I think I may sort of give up on it. I am going to read about half the stuff on the list; that is, the stuff that interests me at the moment. I have started to read my Portable Nietzsche. About to begin "Thus Spoke Zarathustra". Since you have recently found your copy, perhaps you want to join me? I've found Nietzsche to be pretty interesting. I can understand why the editor says that he is often misquoted and misunderstood. He likely would have been an interesting guy to talk to. Once I finish it, I am going to try to knock off The Castle. Then maybe earn my wings and finish The Sound and the Fury.

In the mean time, I am starting to formulate where to go with my writing, and a certain initiative to fuel it. Mainly consisting of reading various interesting things, writing, visiting various places, etc. I'm hoping to begin to collect myself and really focus on my writing and such. Start to really make progress on some stuff. Hopefully all will go well.

T to the O to the double Dizzle....

You must of misread my post, I still can not find TSZ, but if I did find it I would be tempted to read it again with you. I found it had a strange correlation with Portriat, actually I think they go very well together. MY only complaint about TSZ is th elast part, it is pretty much a rehash of the first three, but still one of the most important books I ever read and defenitly one of the most ever written.

I do have Sound and the Fury on you, while you still have U. Fuck the Castle, do not bother reading it, please do not do it!
