The other day, the (near-Chicago) temps ranged from about 85 down to 45.  These are abnormal extremes. The other day I Googled the average temp for my area back in the eighties when I was a teen. Googled revealed an average of 84° with a low of 61°. We've been hitting 90s all week. The sun is hot and I can say that as I'm in the home I've been in since 1971. It's too hot for this time of year. I don't need anyone to tell me we are warming up...I feel it.

I saw a meme the other day that made my tummy tingle of a little girl holding a sign that read: You'll die of old age but I'll die of climate change. That sign haunts me.

Twenty years....mark my words. Science hasn't caught up and by the time it does it will be too late. Unprecedented extinction event. ;((
