Also loving the season arc and big bad, Amara, Sam & Dean's ( Read more... )

I loved reading your thoughts, hon! They are pretty much in line with my own regarding this episode. I really, really felt for Sam here. And your idea is really evil (lol) but interesting! I don't know if they'd go there, but the only concern I'd have is would Sam start disintegrating, like Lucifer's old vessel Nick did? Unless there was some way to prevent that... And then there's the question of whether or not that would be permanent. Maybe they would give him the condition that he can't stay, but he'd try to trick Sam in the end to stay.

All I know is, I do not want to see a repeat of the situation from Swan Song! No Sam staying trapped in the Cage!

Honestly I wouldn't doubt that Cas would probably show up in the next episode. I don't think they'd keep him away from the whole story.

I was surprised about no mention of Michael/Adam either.

I couldn't have been more delighted and on edge to see Lucifer (and Mark - it wouldn't have worked at all without him! He does creepy like no other!)

For me the episode flew by, and on the whole it felt balanced to me and held my full attention. I liked to see a little pick up from the Angel and Demon in the bar storyline, the chemistry between Dean and Amara was smoking and I liked hearing and seeing this Amara and maybe learning a bit about her motivations and plans, I enjoyed Crowley, Rowena and Sam together, I wasn't surprised to hear that Lucifer was behind the visions but the Sam and Lucifer scenes were perfectly disturbing.

Have Rowena and Crowley set Sam up? Or do the three of them have a back up plan? I can't wait to find out. Bring on January.

Jared broke my heart with how terrified Sam was...and for Sam to turn Lucifer down and end up in the Cage anyway...

I'm still not totally sold on Lucifer being the one behind all of the visions Sam had. Sure, I can see some of them leading right back to Lucifer, but a couple of them had a different feel. I guess we'll see ( ... )
