Gone like yesterday (cause it's just past midnight)

I've noticed that it is customary to alert one's friends-list when one will be away from the internet for some time.

I am visiting relatives for several weeks, starting the morning of the third. I should have access again by August 26th (or possibly the 19th). However, in that time, it is very unlikely I will be posting here or commenting. (In other ( Read more... )

The 31st, I think. But after we get done visiting relatives, I'm getting dropped in town early (probably around the 19th or 20th). Dorms don't open until the 26th, though, so I'm probably going to ask my aunt and uncle if I can crash on their couch for a week.

Hmm. I should see when everyone else will be back in town; maybe we can get in a DnD session before classes hit.

Sounds like a plan! I'll be trying to assemble people for character creation for the Madcap Archaeology game as soon as all my players are in town.

Also, if you need a place to crash a couple of nights, you're welcome here. Our couch will be free after the 20th and our guest bedroom starting the 23rd.

Sorry, been very busy with packing.

I've confirmed with Mom that I'll almost definitely be in town by the 19th, so I'll just stay with my aunt. (I still need to ask her about that...) Thank you for the offer, though!

I'll text you to confirm that I'm in town once I get there, for the Madcap Archaeology character stuff. (I'm not sure if she's directly on a bus route, but my aunt lives within biking distance of campus, so a route has to be fairly close.)

Oooo, writing prompts are cool. Glad that's coming along nicely.

Shot towers sound awesome. Free-falling molten lead? Heh That's baller. "How'd you make this?" "Oh, you know...poured 1000 degree liquid metal down a 100 ft pipe."

Looking forward to seeing the post about the tunic project. I'm fascinated when people make chainmail and clothes and such themselves.

Have fun with the relatives! =)
