Sixth Apple (in which there is pie)

Nov 30, 2008 22:11

[Crowley unlocks the door to his room and slowly opens it.]

Aziraphale? Are you in here?

[He can smell something baking. It smells delicious and apple-y, and he wholeheartedly approves and feels much guiltier about not telling the angel that he was popping up to the top deck.]

I brought someone who wants to meet you.

connor, aziraphale, crowley

[Aziraphale is making apple pie. However, he is Somewhat Annoyed that Crowley left in the middle of his discussion of literature, and so Crowley will not be having this pie.

At least, not a very large slice. Unless he looks utterly pathetic.

He sticks his head out of the lovely miraculous new kitchenette when Crowley mentions someone else.]

Hm?

[Connor's feeling a little out of place for some reason, and just sort of peeks into the room from behind Crowley, hands in his pockets. The pie does indeed smell quite delicious, and it's probably a good thing he's rather hungry.]

[Crowley would like to point out that a "discussion" involves two people talking, not Aziraphale lecturing. Crowley will be having that pie because Aziraphale made it for him and knows that he wants to give him some.]

Come in, come in.

[He holds the door open for Connor.]

I swear his baking is worth putting up with him.

[Aziraphale would point out that if Crowley would pay attention, it would not be a lecture. And if he keeps making comments like that he will get no pie because Aziraphale says so.

He shoots Crowley a look before giving Connor a much nicer one.]

I'm so sorry you had to talk to him.
