And that's what we need to do is amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than trying to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family."

I know, this man literally scares me. Look what he said in 1992 about HIV/AIDS.

"If the federal government is truly serious about doing something with the AIDS virus, we need to take steps that would isolate the carriers of this plague."

Don't you know? We are "one nation under God" and that's the Christians' God, and more specificly, the Baptists' view of God. Everyone who lives here needs to align to that.

Everybody who thinks that we should take one religion's laws and turn that into the law of the land and force everyone to live under it should go live in Iran or Saudi Arabia for a year and experience for themselves how well that system works there, especially for the religious minorities.
