Suddenly I discover I'm not the only one who somehow thinks anything that happened in the '90s only took place a couple of years ago. I feel much better now.

I have no sense of time whatsoever. I always have to calculate how long ago things happened based on proximity to events whose date I recall for some reason.

I do that, too, though sometimes not just based off 2000. Anything which happened after about 1988 is "recent" to me.
