Okay, I think I phoneposted about this but I don't see it, so :shrug: (I think phone posting has been delayed of late.)

Anyway, a little over a year ago I bought a spare phone from papertigers; this has come in handy as at least I now have a phone with a screen. My spare RAZR a workfriend later gave me is in the car, and would have possibly been a more ( Read more... )

718-710-2003. Call or text anytime. Good luck with the new phone. When I lost my phone last year the back up software mangled my contacts beyond decipherable.

If your billing cycle is not yet over, you might want to call and add a texting plan/upgrade your texting plan to one that covers the overage. If you do it before the billing cycle is over, and are clear you want it active immediately, it will usually save you from the paying the overages. There are sometimes rules about how soon you can remove the upgrade, so if this was a one time thing, it might be more economical to just pay the overages. But if things have changed and you're texting more in general, it might be a good idea.

AT&T charges $20 for unlimited texting, so i'm still under that...
