I think that's pretty excellent. Time to call a spade a spade. I'm glad the unions are calling out their local Republicans this way and hope to see more of it. If only the Democrats would show some cojones like that!

I admit that I'd been of the opinion the unions had outlived their usefulness. They were a *very* important force in history to make the point that workers are not serfs, they are not property and that labor is as vitally important as capital.

I thought that everyone had learned those lessons, and unions had become nothing more than ceremonial overhead.

The events in the job market of the last two years has left me stunned.

Reminding employers and their paid henchmen that the workers matter, is a very good thing.
