Just got the call I've been dreading for weeks. And no reason to keep things secret, Kristell/Amythest is not going to get better. The stroke she had a few weeks ago was one of several, and basically the best prognosis is that she'll stay the way she is, which has been non-responsive. So instead of slow improvement, it's slow decline. Her sister

I lost one of my 2 best friends in February, so I do know just how awful things are right now. Please know there are people thinking about you, & sending all best wishes for you. Nothing else to be said, but know that you are cared about. Crossing tentacles . . .
