I have to admit, I don't care for Benedict's visuals as Sauron, even Annatar, but as you say that's hardly the artist's fault. I think it's a testament to her skill that this piece totally pushed past that resistance and made me sit up and take notice. That's some masterful work, there. Which come to it is eerily appropriate for this character.
